Beginning July 1, UNC HealthLink will manage calls coming in to UNC Hospitals’ Needlestick Hotline after 4 p.m. Additionally, hospitalists will act as resources for unusual cases and will provide care and post-exposure prophylaxis in the Emergency Department for employees who have had a positive HIV blood exposure.
Beginning July 1, UNC HealthLink will manage calls coming in to UNC Hospitals’ Needlestick Hotline after 4 p.m. Additionally, hospitalists will act as resources for unusual cases and will provide care and post-exposure prophylaxis in the Emergency Department for employees who have had a positive HIV blood exposure.
Calls will automatically roll-over from the Needlestick Hotline for UNC Health Care employees (919-966-4480) and the University Employee Occupational Health Clinic (919-966-9119) to UNC Healthlink.
