Epic@UNC e-learning classes are now available via the new LMS. These courses are based on the Epic@UNC Course Catalog and provide an introduction to the applications and workflows of Epic@UNC.
Please review the Course Catalog (Intranet link) to identify the training that will be required for your job, and use LMS to find the applicable e-Learning courses. Note that the role-based training plans in the Course Catalog may not exactly match your job title or working title.
If you do not see a role that fits your job, read the course descriptions in the application-specific section of the catalog to help you identify the correct Training Plan for your area of responsibility. If you still need assistance, send an email to epictraining@unch.unc.edu.
Most e-Learning courses last between 5 – 10 minutes. To login to LMS, visit this link and use the following credentials:
- UNC Hospitals/UNC Faculty Physicians/Chatham Hospital/UNC Physicians Network: Login with your UNC Health Care account credentials (the same as you use for email, Citrix, Kronos, etc.)
- Rex Healthcare: Login with your Rex network password and ID.

We believe the brief time spent reviewing Epic@UNC e-Learning modules will provide you with the information needed to be prepared for your in-class Epic@UNC training.
