The Epic@UNC Reporting Team is working diligently to add features in Epic@UNC to empower employees to perform self-service reporting. A number of role-based documents and videos also are available through SharePoint and LMS.

Resources currently available include:

  • Resources to Get You Started
    • Quick Start Guides
    • Report Readiness Guides
    • Tip Sheets
  • Enterprise Report Catalog
    • This catalog is a growing list of enterprise-level reports available to users.
    • Currently, the catalog primarily contains Epic@UNC reports, though we continue to add non-Epic@UNC reports over time.
    • We recommend that users review this catalog first before requesting a new report to prevent duplicates.
    • Most of the out-of-the-box reports will have a link under the “Document URL” column, which provides a link to Epic Report Repository; once there, users will see additional details of this report, information such as which tool is used to develop the report, the intended audience, screen shot of what this report looks like, etc.
  • EpicUserWeb Report Repository
    • This is an Epic resource where users can search and discover what kinds of reports Epic has available.
    • An Epic UserWeb account is required to access this resource.

  • Enterprise Analytics Portal
    • This SharePoint site is a centralized resource for all members of the UNC Health Care analytics community. You will find the below resources and many others here:

    • This is a collection of various reporting resources that specifically target a defined group of users, such as Clinic Manager, Nurses, etc.
