Beginning with this Fiscal Year 2015 Performance Review Period (July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015) all employees will use the Taleo Performance system for performance goal plans and annual reviews.

Here are the key changes:

  • The current PREP Performance System has been retired
  • PREP job functions for your job class have been migrated to your performance goal plan in the Taleo Performance system
  • Performance will now be rated using a 5-point scale with rating descriptions that are consistent with other affiliates. To view the performance rating scale descriptions, please go to http://hr.intranet.unchealthcare.org/hr/trx/ratings
    • The current rating scale of “Role Model,” “Does Job Well” and “Needs Improvement,” will be replaced by the 5-point rating scale of “Distinguished Contributor,” “Key Contributor,” “Valued Contributor,” “Improving Contributor” and “Non-Compliant.”

Why Change?
Many managers have been using the Taleo Performance system for several years for their own reviews. Migrating to Taleo Performance allows all employees to be on the same system, thus streamlining the administration of the performance management process.

Phase I training will be available via LMS in mid-May for Goal Plan review (log in, navigate, view Job Functions in your Goal Plan).

Phase II training will be available via LMS in late June/early July for performance review navigation (how to do self-assessment, how to access and sign-off your review).
