2015 W-2s are now available online via Document Self Service for UNC Hospitals, Chatham Hospital, and UNC Hospitals-paid Faculty Physicians & staff employees. Log in using your UNC Health Care account credentials. If you chose not to authorize electronic W-2 delivery, your W-2 will be printed and mailed to your home address via the US Postal Service on/before Jan. 29.
Also note that you may receive one or two new Federal income tax forms, Form 1095-C and Form 1095-B, with information about your health insurance coverage for 2015. It is not necessary for you to wait until you receive these forms to file your tax return. While the information on the forms may assist you in preparing your return, the forms are not required.
