Two Executive Directors have been named to lead key areas—Analytical Solutions and Data Governance—of the recently established Enterprise Analytics and Data Sciences (EADS) organization.
Working collaboratively with units across the system, EADS will develop new analytical models, data sets, and standards to support UNC Health Care’s strategic and operational decisions.
Jeff Fuller will lead EADS’ Analytical Solutions group, which is responsible for the building of reusable data and analytical assets. Collaborating with business leaders, clinicians, and researchers from across UNC Health Care System, UNC School of Medicine, and other organizations, the group will develop requirements and specifications for new data sets and analytical algorithms that can be consistently leveraged across organizational units, use cases, and programs. Jeff joins us from Carolinas Healthcare System, where he served as Director of Analytics. He has an extensive background of nearly 20 years with several health care organizations in operational efficiency, improved patient experience, and high-value care delivered through maximizing the potential of information and data assets.
Rachini Moosavi will lead EADS’ Data Governance group, which is responsible for facilitating the development, use, and management of high-quality data, reports and analytical solutions. The group will engage groups of business, clinical, and research data users to develop shared institutional knowledge about UNC Health Care-related data, including topics such as data standards, data models, appropriate interpretations, and defining the “best source of truth” regarding key clinical and business topics. Rachini joins us from UNC Physicians where she served in multiple roles over the last 10 years, most recently as Director of Revenue Cycle, Analytics. Her extensive health care management background includes business intelligence/analytics; reporting and dashboard solutions; client relationship management; process consulting and strategy.
