I am pleased to announce that John Valgus has accepted the position of Assistant Director of Pharmacy, overseeing Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Clinical/Distributional Pharmacy Services. John began with UNC Hospitals in 1999 as a Pharmacy Practice Resident. He has served in multiple different roles within UNC Hospitals, most recently as the Pharmacy Clinical Manager for Cancer Hospital Infusion Services.

I am also delighted to announce that Kayla Waldron has accepted the position of Assistant Director of Pharmacy, overseeing Adult Acute and Ambulatory Clinical Services. Kayla began with UNC Hospitals in 2010 as the Medication Safety Officer. She was most recently the Pharmacy Clinical Manager for Adult Acute Care Services.
