Starting on March 12, 2018, to enhance our information security, DUO ‘two-Step Verification’ will be required when accessing UNC Health Care SharePoint sites remotely. You will still be able to login normally while at work (including from UNC School of Medicine offices).
This will impact all collaboration sites, Intranets that have moved to the SharePoint platform (UNC REX, UNC Physicians Network, Chatham, UNC Health Care System), and MySites.
- If you’ve already downloaded and registered with DUO to access MyApps or WebMail remotely, then no action is required. You will use the same process.
- If you haven’t already downloaded/registered with DUO, follow the steps at https://go.unch.unc.edu/duo.
