Epic@UNC now generates a pop-up tickler to remind users to link a referral to an appointment. When scheduling an appointment a department with the same specialty as an existing referral, the scheduler will see the tickler reminder to link the appointment. This change was made to support clinics in ensuring that the referrals are converted properly as well as reduce the potential for duplicate referrals for our patients.
