Our Carolina Care Highlight this week recognizes Dr. Ronald J. Falk, director of the UNC Kidney Center and chair of the Department of Medicine. Jennifer Tang, MD, and Lameck Chinula, MMED, both in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the UNC School of Medicine, are co-principal investigators for this USAID grant to more effectively combat cervical cancer, the leading cause of death among women in Malawi.

There will be a free drop-in photography session for UNC School of Medicine faculty members and UNC Health Care advanced practice providers (AuDs, CRNAs, CNMs, CNSs, CPPs, LCSWs, NPs, OTs, PTs, PAs and SLPs) on February 8. The session will start at 7:30am and end at 1pm. Non-faculty advanced practice providers must provide direct, clinical patient care in the outpatient setting in order to be photographed.
