Richard M. Davis, MD, associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, is corresponding author of the study published in JAMA Ophthalmology.


A new study based on analysis of data from more than 73,000 patients treated at UNC Health Care-affiliated facilities has found that patients who have migraine headaches are more likely to have comorbid dry eye disease, compared to the general population.

The study was published online by JAMA Ophthalmology on March 7.
