  • Demonstrated the spirit of service to others in the field of nutrition/dietetics, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the North Carolina Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Significant contribution to the North Carolina Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics during his/her career.
  • Source of inspiration to other members who have themselves become leaders.
  • A leader for the profession who has created new opportunities for dietitians/nutritionists.
  • Furthered the profession by having made public presentations, published the results of scientific research or consumer information via mass media. Additional explanation of support is welcomed and recommended.
“I am grateful and continually amazed in the talented and dedicated UNC Hospital dietitians I get to work with every day who advance nutrition care and the well-being for vulnerable populations in the State of North Carolina,” said Wills.
