The University will hold its 17th annual “Late Night with Roy” basketball season kickoff event September 27 at the Dean Smith Center. The event will begin at 8 p.m. but heavy traffic should be expected for several hours leading up to the event.
The University will hold its 17th annual “Late Night with Roy” basketball season kickoff event September 27 at the Dean Smith Center. The event will begin at 8 p.m. but heavy traffic should be expected for several hours leading up to the event.
Chapel Hill Transit will provide Tar Heel Express shuttle service on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, for “Late Night with Roy” beginning at 6 p.m. from the Friday Center park and ride (off Highway 54 East on Friday Center Drive).
The shuttles will provide continuous and fully accessible service, running every 10 to 15 minutes between Friday Center and the Dean E. Smith Center. An on-demand return shuttle will operate until the end of the event, when full shuttle service resumes. The shuttles will operate for 45 minutes following the event. Shuttle rides are $5 for a round-trip or $3 for a one-way trip.
Park and ride permits are not required during Tar Heel Express events.
