The UNC School of Medicine is one of the few locations with both medical student and residency projects funded through the Accelerating Change in Medical Education initiative and UNC SOM has many faculty members engaged in the various projects.

Members of the consortium met with faculty and student representatives from the FIRST program, UNC School of Medicine’s leadership curriculum developed in collaboration with the Kenan-Flagler Business School, Interprofessional Education Initiatives, and projects that encourage students to add value in the authentic clinical environment.

Reimaging Residency Initiative projects include expansion of FIRST, developing a health system science curriculum for residents, advancing the development of the M3 app to include Entrustable Professional Activities, and the CPR2 initiative to bolster the learning environment.
