The Dean’s Office is sponsoring our first institution-wide survey to assess Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the School of Medicine.
The AAMC/UMASS Diversity Engagement Survey is a 22-question survey that will assess the inclusiveness of our academic learning environment and define our areas of strengths and areas for improvement. The survey will also gather demographic information that will help us develop a better sense of who our community is made up of, and will drive our diversity planning efforts. This survey will be administered by a third party and the results will be returned to UNC in a manner that will protect against deductive disclosure of individual respondents (i.e., in aggregate, with a minimum cell size = 10).
The survey is being given across the entire UNC School of Medicine system including all faculty, staff, students, residents/fellows, and post docs, and the survey portal will be open from October 28-November 24, 2019. The more participation in the survey the better for our School. Thank you for sharing your opinion.
