TraCS contribution is limited to $25K. Proposals with additional funds may have larger budgets and their scope may enhance reviewer enthusiasm.

Priority will be given to projects that can lead to larger scale research with external funding, particularly those with promise to rapidly lead to COVID-19 prevention, diagnosis, treatment, cure or critical steps to enabling translation to those aims. Proposals should leverage existing strengths of UNC’s work to respond to the pandemic.

Applications are due by 5:00 PM on April 24, 2020.

We strongly encourage submission of a brief (half-page) letter of intent specifically addressing special evaluation criteria via email by April 15 to Paul Kerr.
