What is ACCLAIM?
ACCLAIM is a leadership development program for early- to mid-career faculty in the School of Medicine, with an emphasis on those underrepresented in medicine.
The ACCLAIM program includes:
- Skills-based leadership development training
- Mentoring toward promotion and tenure (if applicable)
- Academic career counseling
- The opportunity to network with colleagues from across the institution
- An intensive three-day retreat focusing on personal leadership
- A year-long mentored project
Faculty from each of the School of Medicine’s 29 departments have participated in the program since its inception 8 years ago.
