Iris, the UNC School of Medicine’s literary arts journal is seeking creative work published under quarantine for a special COVID-19 edition.

Who is eligible to submit? Students, faculty, residents, staff—anyone affiliated with the School of Medicine!

Where can I submit? https://forms.gle/ZKPqBz3Ne3AzmuKfA More information on submission guidelines can also be found here.

When are submissions due? Friday, May 8th 2020 (EXTENDED to May 31st at 11:59 pm) (although submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis! Submit earlier if you can to make our editing easier!)

How will this be published? Most likely online. Although zines are normally physical pamphlets, these times call for non-physical copies. We may print a few physical copies later this year.

Want to get involved? We are STILL accepting applications for leadership positions on our editorial board! We’d also love to have you help even if you are not interested in a formal position. Application link: https://forms.gle/o8bNUj2Hepmhhzm59

We look forward to hearing from you! Please do not hesitate to contact Bailey (james_sanford@med.unc.edu) or Kristen (Kristen_larson@med.unc.edu) with any questions.
