Please join friends and colleagues in a walk in support of health equity on Tuesday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m.
UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill: exit the hospital from the Manning level of the Cancer Hospital and assemble in the Manning Level Cancer Lot. Participants will then proceed from there to the grassy area behind the Parking Pavilion for a moment of silence before beginning the walk. They will exit from there and follow the route back around to Manning and then end at the Cancer Manning level parking lot. See a map of the route here.
Hillsborough Hospital: meet outside the front lobby at the main entrance of UNC Hillsborough hospital
Remember to keep 6 feet of distance and make sure to wear your mask. We will have signs with words of encouragement and support to distribute.
Please ensure you are not blocking roadways and sidewalks for patient access to the hospital. If you are coming to participate from off-campus, please park in the parking deck. For those unable to leave your work area, please observe a moment of silence.
