The Division of Neuromuscular Disorders has been designated as a Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation Charcot-Marie-Tooth Center of Excellence.
UNC Neurology is proud to announce its designation as a Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation Charcot-Marie-Tooth Center of Excellence (COE). Designated centers demonstrate excellence in clinical care and research, and collaborate with the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation to serve as a Charcot-Marie-Tooth patient community hub for clinical care, community engagement, research, training and education.
The center is under the direction of Rebecca Traub, MD, within the Division of Neuromuscular Disorders where patients receive comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, consultation, treatment and management of symptoms for a variety of peripheral neuropathies.
