The UNC SOM Passing the Torch Program, sponsored by the Academy of Educators in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, welcomes six new participants to the 2020-21 cohort.

This month, the UNC SOM Passing the Torch Program, sponsored by the Academy of Educators (AOE) in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, welcomed six new participants to the 2020-21 cohort. The program is led by Jen McEntee, MD, MPH, MAEd.
Passing the Torch is a faculty development program uniquely suited to junior Clinician Educator faculty to develop further patient care and teaching skills with a person-centered model. Participants create a ‘passion project’ of their choice for a capstone to the course and can include, but is not limited to, a creative pursuit related to the practice of medicine, aspect of course evaluation, or seed for future education or research project.
Congratulations to the 2020-21 cohort (pictured left to right)!
