Amy Bryant, MD, MSCR, has accepted the role of educational champion to help lead the establishment of the Novant Regional Campus in Charlotte. She will work closely with the Deans’ Office and the Novant leadership team to establish a regional medical campus by March 2022.


Amy Bryant, MD, MSCR, has accepted the role of educational champion to help lead the establishment of the Novant Regional Campus in Charlotte. She will work closely with the Deans’ Office and the Novant leadership team to establish a regional medical campus by March 2022. In Charlotte she will help with the recruitment and training of the Novant educators who will teach and support UNC School of Medicine students. She will also work closely with the current course leaders at the Central Campus in Chapel Hill, the educational leaders at the other regional campuses, and our students to make sure that regional campus at Novant Charlotte is a similarly wonderful place for our students to learn as all the other sites.

Bryant is an experienced clinician who has worked at UNC since 2009. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Family Planning Division. She is a passionate educator who has co-led the Care of Specific Populations course since 2018. She is a bridge builder and connector.
