The University Office for Diversity and Inclusion presents a virtual Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Celebration set for Jan. 26. Patrisse Cullors, social activist, best-selling author of ‘When They Call you a Terrorist’, and co-creator of the viral Twitter Hashtag and movement, Black Lives Matter will deliver the keynote. The MLK UNC Scholarship for UNC juniors and MLK Unsung Hero awards will be presented. The virtual celebration begins at 6 p.m. Register here to participate in the event.
