UNC School of Medicine is seeking a faculty member who is committed to medical student professional development to serve in the role of Chair of the newly established Student Professionalism Committee.
This committee will review student professionalism lapses and triage to education, coaching, remediation, discipline and more. Other committee members will include both faculty and students. We anticipate initially a monthly meeting with administrative tasks related to the meeting. Knowledge and skills required include organization, high professional standards, objectivity, cultural competency and training in diversity and equity. This individual will report to Alice Chuang, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
This position currently comes with a $10,000 stipend.
