Colin Orr, MD, has been selected to join the Continuity Research Network (CORNET) Executive Committee as the Region 4 Research Chair. CORNET is the national research network of the Academic Pediatric Association.
CORNET is comprised of pediatric residency continuity practices. Half of the nation’s pediatric residency clinics are part of the research network, serving approximately 1 million children. CORNET’s “mission is to advance children’s health by partnering with key stakeholders through rigorous research in primary care, health care delivery, improvement science, and medical education, through an established, self-sustaining, collaborative, research network among pediatric continuity clinicians.” In his role, Orr will represent Region IV, which includes programs located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
