UNC School of Medicine is moving from their on-premise Panopto system to UNC’s new Panopto cloud lecture capture system at the end of the spring semester.
Migration is scheduled to complete Monday, May 17. Please do not schedule or upload any recordings for that day. All links will be redirected to avoid disruption of viewing.
Students, faculty, and staff will have the same Panopto experience, with many new features, including:
- Integration with Zoom and Sakai
- Automatic transcriptions and closed captioning
- Automatic software updates
Because of our two-year retention policy, which UNC Panopto also has, only recordings from the last two academic years (July 2019-May 2021) will migrate.
