The University’s phone service will be moving from Verizon to AT&T over the next 36 months. The University is developing a migration schedule that will transition phone numbers on a building-by-building basis. On Friday, August 27th the University will be migrating all phone lines, including main lines, fax lines, and conference room lines in the following buildings.
In collaboration with main campus ITS, our partner in this transition, the University has made a strategic decision to port phone numbers. Porting phone numbers means existing phone numbers will remain in place and new features will be available after the transition.
On Friday, August 27th the University will be migrating all phone lines, including main lines, fax lines, and conference room lines in buildings:
- Carolina Square Building C
- Health Sciences Library
- Hooker Research Center
- Rosenau Hall
- Sheryl Mar South
School of Medicine IT will be communicating additional phone conversion details via email, flyers, and Vital Signs. For more information regarding this transition, including timelines and new feature benefits, please visit the New and Enhanced Phone Services website.
