A new and improved UNC Health Find a Doctor website will go live on Monday, Nov. 15.
The new site replaces the existing Find a Doctor platform and is:
- Faster: little to no waiting for search results or pages to load
- Smarter: enhanced technology that can handle natural language searches like “female pediatrician accepting new patients in holly springs”
- Search-Friendly: structured to rank highly in Google local searches
In addition to these immediate improvements, the new site will require ongoing optimization with significant behind-the-scenes work planned to improve the robustness and quality of underlying provider data.
