Phased Return to an On-site Physical Workspace Begins Jan. 10, 2022.
While Working Forward initiative plans were paused earlier this year, on Jan. 10, 2022, School of Medicine and UNC Health teammates designated as onsite or hybrid will begin returning to campus.
As a reminder, this does not mean everyone returns to an on-site physical workspace at the same time, on the same schedule or at all.
Working Forward is tied directly to the One Great Team system-wide values, which include attracting and retaining a high performing workforce while reinventing how, where and when employees work. The School of Medicine and UNC Health will continue to evaluate the strategy of evolving work culture across the organization.
For employees returning to UNC-Chapel Hill spaces, it will be important to review the University’s COVID-19 Community Standards. The Community Standards include getting vaccinated, wearing a mask in University buildings, practicing healthy habits and more.
