The third annual Mini Med School, a 5-week lecture series featuring MD/PhD students, faculty and fellows at the UNC School of Medicine, will begin in February.
MD/PhD students, faculty and fellows at the UNC School of Medicine will begin its third annual Mini Med School 5-week introductory lecture series. The goal of Mini Med School is to provide the local community with a look at how physicians approach diseases and medically-focused issues and what kind of research occurs in those topics at the School of Medicine. Topics will include vaccines and infectious diseases, nutrition and cardiovascular health, hematology and blood disorders, chronic kidney disease, and race and medicine.
These sessions will occur every Tuesday during the month of February from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19, all sessions will be held virtually over Zoom, and recordings of each session will be made available. If interested, you can register here: Registration
