Research for Me has added new features for managing potential participant interest, understanding listing metrics, and adding a webpage to highlight available research.

Research for Me, the centralized resource at UNC-Chapel Hill to learn about and find clinical research opportunities, aims to communicate information to patients in a way that is accessible. Recently, Research for Me has added new features for managing potential participant interest, understanding listing metrics, and adding a webpage to highlight available research.
“Resources like clinicaltrials.gov can be helpful for clinicians to find studies for patients, but [those listings] are not written in a way that patients can understand,” said Emily Olsson, manager of the NC TraCS Recruitment and Retention program. “This is a first step toward more impactful participant engagement; we really hope this platform can be used to more easily connect interested participants with study opportunities, but also showcase the wide range of incredible research that UNC has to offer and get people excited to be part of it.”
With Research for Me, teams can also request an optimization of their study listing to display the details in a format that is easy for potential participants to read and navigate.
