State employees including Mike Chapman, director of employment services for UNC TEACCH at the UNC School of Medicine, share their experiences on third anniversary of ‘Employment First,’ a program to support members of the workforce who have disabilities.


Mike Chapman, director of employment services at the TEACCH Autism Program of the UNC School of Medicine, is one of several state employees featured alongside a message from Governor Roy Cooper to recognize the third anniversary of Employment First for North Carolinians with Disabilities. Among the individuals counseled in the TEACCH program is Jeff Pigott, a processing assistant at the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

The North Carolina Office of State Human Resources issued a press release featuring links to several video messages, including one from the governor.
