Samantha Meltzer-Brody, MD, MPH, is the Assad Meymandi Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and is the Director of the UNC Center for Women’s Mood Disorders and an internationally recognized physician-scientist in perinatal depression.

Forbes magazine has published its list of “16 Healthcare Innovators That You Should Know.” Among the 16 is Samantha Meltzer-Brody, MD, MPH, of the UNC School of Medicine. Meltzer-Brody is the Assad Meymandi Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and is the Director of the UNC Center for Women’s Mood Disorders.
