Iris: the Art and Literary Journal at UNC School of Medicine is gathering submissions for a one-time themed issue on experiences in medical training during the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents, fellows, and medical students are welcome to submit.
Iris: the Art and Literary Journal at UNC School of Medicine is gathering submissions for a one-time themed issue open to trainees during COVID-19, including residents, fellows, and medical students. Poetry (up to 3 poems), short fiction (5000-word limit), essay (5000-word limit), photography, and visual art (up to 3) on the topic of COVID-19 will be considered.
Those submitting content have the option to submit piece(s) to the standard Iris annual 2022 issue and this themed issue if a submission is not accepted by one.
The deadline to submit for this upcoming issue is July 15 at 11:59 p.m.
