The UNC School of Medicine Committee for Professionalism Education (COPE) is a medical student professionalism committee and is accepting applications for committee members.
The committee will review student professional lapses and triage to education, coaching, remediation, discipline, and more. Associate Professor in the Department of Urology Kristy Borawski, MD, chairs the committee and reports to Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Alice Chuang, MD, MEd. The committee will include both faculty and students and will require a two-year commitment.
Meetings will be held once monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 4 p.m.
