Sahar Ahmad, Ye Wu, and Pew-Thian Yap, researchers at the UNC Biomedical Research Imaging Center, produced one of the award-winning images from the NIH’s 2022 Show Us Your BRAINs Photo and Video contest.
Sahar, Ahmad, a research instructor in radiological services group in the UNC Department of Radiology, and fellow UNC Biomedical Research Imaging Center researchers Ye Wu and Pew-Thian Yap, were featured in this week’s NIH Director’s blog for their award-winning image as part of the 2022 Show Us Your BRAINs Photo and Video contest. The contest is supported by NIH’s Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies® (BRAIN) Initiative.
This summer, Ahmad was also profiled at Endeavors magazine, produced by the Office for Research Communications under the vice chancellor for research at UNC-Chapel Hill.
