Nicole (Nikki) Hughes, LE, has joined the UNC Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery as an academic aesthetician.
She works closely alongside facial plastic surgeons, Madison Clark, MD, and Matthew Miller, MD, to develop personalized skincare treatment plans for patients.
In the clinic, she uses a variety of techniques to help improve skin health in all ages and skin types. She specializes in treatments including: fractional laser resurfacing, broadband light (BBL), chemical peels, and micro-needling. She also will work with the facial plastic and reconstructive surgical division fellowship program by offering training on complementary skin care and aesthetic procedures.
Hughes has many years of experience as an aesthetician and is passionate about using her skills to help patients look and feel their best. Her goal is to make certain her patients understand their treatment options, and what will work best for their individual condition. She is available to collaborate with providers across UNC Health. A referral is not required for individuals interested in scheduling and she is currently accepting new patients.
