Applications are now open until April 5 for the 2023 – 2024 Clinical Trialist Training Program, which provides 10% salary support for UNC School of Medicine faculty to obtain training on how to be a site investigator for sponsor-initiated multicenter clinical trials.
The UNC School of Medicine Clinical Research Support Office, the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and NC TraCS announce the third iteration of the Clinical Trialist Training Program (CTTP), a funding opportunity for SOM faculty who are interested in obtaining training to become a site investigator for sponsor-initiated multicenter clinical trials that augment their department’s research portfolio. The CTTP provides 10% salary support (up to the NIH cap). Applications are open until April 5th, 2023.
CTTP applicants must hold a full-time clinical faculty appointment in the School of Medicine at the rank of Associate Professor or lower (at the time of award), have a clinical doctoral degree (MD or DO or foreign equivalent) or dual degree (MD/PhD), be board certified in their specialty, and able to commit 10% full-time professional effort for program activities.
