Back-to-school drive will support students in Wake, Orange, Durham and Chatham counties
WHAT: UNC Health employees will help “Stuff the Bus” to ensure local students start the school year with the supplies they need to be successful. UNC Health hospitals, clinics and other locations across the Triangle are hosting school supply drives in August to support students in our communities. On Monday, Aug. 19, employees will fill an entire school bus with supplies to be delivered as the traditional school year kicks off.
WHY: UNC Health is committed to helping our teammates make a positive impact in the communities where we live, work and play. We recognize the importance of equipping children with the tools they need to succeed at school. During the past decade, the “Stuff the Bus” school supply drives have been a great success, collecting more than 180,000 items for Wake, Orange, Durham and Chatham County students.
WHEN/WHERE: UNC Health employees will help “Stuff the Bus” at locations across the Triangle on Monday, Aug. 19, including at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
