The UNC School of Medicine was ranked Tier 1 in both Research and Primary Care in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 “Best Graduate Schools.” UNC is one of only two medical schools in the country that are ranked Tier 1 for both Research and Primary Care.
The specialty programs ranked in the top 10 include:
- Audiology, tied for second
- Clinical Psychology, tied for second
- Healthcare Management, second
- Speech Language Pathology, tied for fifth
- Occupational Therapy, seventh
- Rehabilitation Counseling, tied for seventh
- Physical Therapy, tied for 10th
