The UNC Health hospitals are among 151 hospitals across the country to earn the 2025 Top Hospital Award.
“These honorees are a testament to the extraordinary dedication of these facilities’ entire teams, boards, clinicians, administrators, staff and community volunteers,” said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. “You don’t achieve results like this without everyone putting their heart into patient care.”
To qualify for the Top Hospitals distinction, hospitals must rank top among peers on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, which assesses hospital performance on the highest standards for quality and patient safety, and achieve top performance in its category.
