Jonathan Oberlander, Professor of Social Medicine and Health Policy & Management, is co-editor of Public Health Under Siege, a new special issue published by the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law. The special issue explores the current predicament of public health and the consequences for the United States and globally, and how public health can recover, reinvigorate, and surmount the turmoil that now envelops it. The collection features a multidisciplinary mix of scholars from public health, health policy, political science, and history survey the state of American public health, past, present, and future.
