2009 Holiday Bazaar
The 2009 Holiday Bazaar will be in the N.C. Children's Hospital lobby on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will be more than 50 vendors from all over the state selling national brands and locally made crafts, jewelry, cosmetics, art, and much more.

Want to do something for kids who will spend their holidays in the Children's Hospital? Bring a new and unwrapped gift for the nurses' Santa Sack program. We especially need items for infants and teens and are accepting donations through Dec. 23.

HSL Hosts Book Drive for Pediatric Cancer Patients
The Health Sciences Library, along with several other UNC departments and organizations, is once again sponsoring a book drive on behalf of the Book Fairy, an organization that donates children's books to the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at UNC Hospitals. Please donate by Dec. 8!

96rock Cares for Kids Concert
Curtis Media Group has announced the addition of a second charity concert, “96rock Cares for Kids Concert,” to the N.C. Children’s Promise Radiothon/Telethon on Thursday, Nov. 18. This charity rock concert at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh will feature live performances by The Connells, Taddy Porter and the Garland Mason Band.

Krispy Kreme Challenge returns Feb. 5
N.C. State's most infamous tradition, the Krispy Kreme Challenge, returns for a seventh year on Saturday, Feb. 5, to raise money for the N.C. Children's Hospital. Beginning at the N.C. State Bell Tower, challengers run two miles to the Krispy Kreme store on Peace Street in Raleigh and, after downing a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, run the two miles back. All in one hour.
