Ariel and Joshua Cooley interview their mother, Jocelyn Cooley, about Joshua's rare genetic disorder and how instrumental the NC Children's Hospital medical staff has been to the family. She talks about Joshua's spirit and what a special child he is.

The first 300 people to sign up for a free N.C. Children's Promise official DMV license plate (benefiting the N.C. Children's Hospital) within the next ten days will receive a free medium coffee from the Terrace Cafe.

UNC Coaches to celebrate $3M fundraising mark at Carolina Kids Classic
Since 1989, UNC football and basketball coaches have lent their playing time and support to the Carolina Kids Classic, a charity golf tournament held each year at the UNC Finley Golf Course. The 2010 Carolina Kids Classic is June 24.

Country for Kids concert at DPAC to benefit N.C. Children's Hospital
Curtis Media Group has announced a charity concert, dubbed “Country for Kids,” to contribute to the ninth annual N.C. Children’s Promise Radiothon/Telethon. Tickets for the concert— held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC)—go on sale this Friday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m., with proceeds benefiting the N.C. Children’s Hospital.
