Children's Book Drive
The Family Medicine Center is requesting new and gently used books to be donated to their center. As members of the "Reach Out and Read" program, their goal is to build a permanent pediatric library in each of the lobby areas.

Clara’s Journey
When Clara Murphy was born nearly 100 days prematurely in the Newborn Critical Care Center at UNC Children’s, her parents, Courtney and Jason, quickly learned that their journey as a family would be filled with highs and lows. Today, they’re a happy family of four, and not only have they gained Clara, they’ve also developed greater appreciation for what they have.

Country for Kids concert at DPAC to benefit N.C. Children's Hospital
Curtis Media Group has announced a charity concert, dubbed “Country for Kids,” to contribute to the ninth annual N.C. Children’s Promise Radiothon/Telethon. Tickets for the concert— held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC)—go on sale this Friday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m., with proceeds benefiting the N.C. Children’s Hospital.
