University Masking Guidelines Changing March 7
Masks will no longer be required in most campus spaces but will remain required in all health care settings. Research labs will follow mask requirements that were in place prior to the pandemic.

Distancing Guidelines Reduced in Non-Clinical School of Medicine Spaces
The UNC School of Medicine is reducing its enhanced distancing guidelines in non-clinical spaces, including laboratories, meeting spaces and break room spaces, to align with the University’s COVID-19 Community Standards. Masks will remain a requirement in indoor spaces on campus.
