Proposals were sought from UNC Health and School of Medicine faculty and employees for innovations across a spectrum of areas including care delivery, new technology, advanced analytics, and more.

Over the course of the last three weeks, six UNC School of Medicine faculty participated in the Making the Case program that is sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development. Program participants developed and refined their business ideas, and practiced pitching their idea in front of a panel of institutional leaders serving as coaches and judges. The UNC School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development and the Center for Health Innovation are accepting proposals for the 2020 UNC School of Medicine Well-Being Pilot Awards. Applications are due Jan. 14, 2020, and as many as three awards of up to $10,000 each will be announced in March 2020.
