The UNC Department of Radiology collaborates with the University of Nairobi (UoN) in Kenya. As a result of this partnership, UoN recently established the nation’s first interventional radiology fellowship, which will intake its inaugural class of Kenyan trainees later this year.

UNC's Department of Radiology offers educational track for residents with interest in global health. Katrina McGinty, MD, clinical assistant professor in the UNC Department of Radiology, initiated the creation and development of a Global Health Leadership Pathway for diagnostic and interventional radiology residents.
