It’s been six months since Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico. Jennifer Sutherland Kelly, PharmD, a pharmacist in the emergency department at UNC Hospitals, arrived on the island shortly after the storm as part of a disaster medical assistance team – providing medical care and infrastructure assistance to those affected.

The 11th annual Tar Heel 10 Miler & Fleet Feet Sports 4 Mile Run will take place again in Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 21, 2018. This start is at 7:15 a.m. in front of the Bell Tower and the finish is along side Stadium Drive, concluding at 10:30 a.m. We are expecting about 6,000 runners. The primary beneficiary for the event is the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
