The Malawian Program for Mental Health Research Training Grant has been awarded to Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases in partnership with UNC Psychiatry

The UNC Institute for Global health and Infectious Diseases and UNC Psychiatry’s Division of Global Mental Health WARMHEART will create an expert pool of mental health researchers based in Malawi who are trained as leaders and able to collaborate with other disciplines and policymakers to address the role of psychiatric illness across the lifespan in sub-Saharan Africa.

UNC TEACCH announces upcoming Fall 2020 cohort of Project ECHO Autism for medical providers

UNC TEACCH is announcing an upcoming Fall 2020 cohort of Project ECHO Autism for medical providers beginning September 28, 2020. We are offering 12, free teleconsultation sessions held the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at lunch time (11:45-1:15) for medical providers (pediatricians, family medicine doctors, nurses, PAs, NPs) who are interested in learning more about screening, treatment options, and resources for individuals with autism and their families.

The UNC TEACCH Autism Speaker Series – Virtual Series “From Research to Practice”

The UNC TEACCH Autism Speaker Series provides the most up-to-date information on current topics in autism education, intervention, and diagnosis being researched and implemented at UNC. Content will be shared in three, two-hour virtual sessions, each highlighting UNC advancements in research and community practice from cells to services across the lifespan. Continuing Education Credits are available.
